The Mediterranean influence is evident in every detail of this notable property. A custom stone staircase from the motor court leads to the ten-foot-high arched iron and glass front door entry. Sweeping views from the elegant Living Room become the backdrop for the upstairs living space. The living room boasts soaring ceilings, a robust fireplace, and a unique floor of inlaid Italian Nosiette tumbled marble and distressed Brazilian walnut hardwood. The loggia off the living room is a focal point of this property. It offers stone patios, wisteria draped pergolas, specimen palm trees, and curved lawns which surround the pool and spa. The kitchen offers ease and convenience for family meals and entertaining. Glass doors lead you from the family room to the covered outdoor loggia. This large area has spectacular mountain and ocean views, and will be a favorite place to enjoy meals at the end of the day.
The indoor dining room which seats 10 is formal yet comfortable. Contemporary art combined with classic décor creates an eclectic venue for entertaining. Just outside the dining room is another patio deck. This east-facing area has a small dining table which enjoys views of the spectacular Santa Ynez Mountains. It is a wonderful place to enjoy your coffee while listening to the morning sounds of nature and soothing waterfalls.
The Master Bedroom is spacious and private, and has immediate access to the veranda and a built-in spa. The custom landscape fresco, beautiful artifacts, fireplace, and sitting area combine to create a peaceful haven. A thoughtful feature of the Master Bedroom Suite is a door closing off a private hallway with access to the second upstairs bedroom. This unique design offers the feel of a private suite, while allowing you to stay close to little ones nearby.
The tasteful Master Bathroom has heated floors and travertine floors. Step up to the oval spa tub where a custom fireplace and ocean view enhance your experience. A large “his & hers” marble shower offers both dual rain shower heads and dual hand-held sprayers.
