Villa Shoreline, located near Shoreline Park and the Santa Barbara Harbor, goes above and beyond to provide everything necessary for a flawless coastal vacation. This newly remodeled (2010) home has been thoughtfully designed, with a strong emphasis on indoor & outdoor entertaining. The contemporary interior is comfortable and relaxed, and the original hard wood floors and natural materials add warmth to the overall sleek and stylish design.
The sophisticated Living Room furnishings include a large sectional sofa and a central fireplace. The windows, with unique sheer fabric treatments, allow natural light to shine through, yet also provide privacy and ambience.
The kitchen is spacious, and has a contemporary hardwood table that seats 8 guests. Every kitchen amenity is provided to help create gourmet meals, or to make it easy to pack a beach picnic.
French doors from the kitchen lead to the backyard tile patio, with outdoor dining table for 8. Shade trees, a soothing fountain, and lush landscape create a tranquil setting for outdoor meals or afternoon napping! The spa is tucked away behind a bamboo screen, and the green lawn is a safe place for young guests to play in the fully fenced yard. The outdoor hot shower is convenient after a day at the beach, or for rinsing before & after a spa.
The downstairs Master Suite offers natural colors and textures which enhance this quiet sanctuary. French doors lead to the backyard patio, and have natural fabric shades to add privacy. The Master Bathroom has a large walk-in shower with a rain shower head, marble counters and beautiful wood cabinets.
The second downstairs bedroom has French doors which open to the back patio & a lovely fountain. It’s Queen size bed is adorned with a luxurious ultra-suede duvet of subtle grey. Across the hall is the third guest bedroom with a convenient set of 2 Full-size beds. These downstairs bedrooms share the hall bathroom with a shower-tub combination and convenient spa-style soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers.
The quintessential entertaining space is located upstairs – a fully-loaded Media Room. With this area of the home, the owners succeeded in creating an amazing place for friends to gather together and have fun. This incredible and spacious room offers a pool table, two 58” HDTV’s, a fireplace, a powerful sound system, and a variety of seating options. Other playful amenities include a professional dartboard, an X-Box 360 w/Boomchair, books, DVD’s, a game table, a massage chair, a built-in bar, and fully-equipped kitchenette with dining table.
Outside this fantastic entertainment hub is the rooftop tile patio deck. It is from here that ocean breezes, spectacular sunsets and relaxed lounging takes place, with the Channel Islands and blue Pacific ocean as the backdrop. If guests wish to play outside, a ping-pong table and bike are also part of the list of recreational toys located in the garage.
The upstairs level also has a full Master Bedroom Suite with a Cal King bed and full bath. It has a private deck overlooking the backyard, which is accessed through French doors. This deck is a nice place to relax and listen to the soothing fountain below.
Completing this upstairs level is a cheerful garden-themed kid’s bedroom. This playful room of green & white has 3 twin beds. From this whimsical spot, look out through the large window, and the tree tops are all you can see. Kids will feel as though they are staying in a tree house!
