The stucco walls, wrought iron, rich wood, and hand-painted Mexican tiles are reminiscent of a century old hacienda, yet impeccably built to today ’s modern standards.
The Living Room’s soaring natural wood beam ceilings create a spacious room that centers around a massive stone fireplace. Drenched with light, this room is lined with hand-made square frame windows and oversized doors. Swing open these large patio doors on opposite walls to create “al fresco” ambiance; enhanced with a cool evening breeze or a warm summer wind. The Living Room’s south-facing door opens to the pool area and Guest House , while the north-facing door opens to the private central patio with tranquil fountain.
The formal Dining Room is private and large with seating for 8-10 at the rustic farm table. This room also opens to the central patio with its soothing cast-stone fountain. Lounge chairs, heaters and an outdoor dining table complete this peaceful location.
A Saltillo tile hallway leads to the well-appointed Kitchen with Viking appliances, honed limestone counters and custom hand-made cabinetry. A large breakfast nook overlooks the lush backyard with its mature oaks, sycamores, bougainvillea and palm trees surrounding the manicured lawn.
From the Kitchen, step down into a warm and inviting Sitting Room with a large sandstone fireplace, comfortable seating and a flat screen television. The soothing central patio can also be accessed from the Sitting Room.
Down the hall are two private bedroom suites. Handmade doors lead from each of these rooms to the deck with backyard views. Both have full bathrooms with colorful tiles and a combination shower/tub.
In the center of the home is a unique stairway with hand-sculpted eucalyptus banisters. This stairway leads to the Master Suite occupying the entire 2nd floor. The circular design of this space is accented by an exquisite Murano Venetian Glass chandelier. The Master Bedroom itself is grand and open with the continued theme of rustic wood doors and windows, open beams, and a warm vacation retreat feel. A private balcony takes in majestic mountian views and overlooks the central patio and lush grounds below.
The Master Bathroom features an oval soaking tub, walk-in shower with rain head, and His & Hers sinks. More hand-painted tiles, along with custom-stenciled Southwestern doors, add artistic whimsy to the rustic design elements.
“La Biblioteca” (the Library) has been transformed into a private Suite with queen size bed and sitting area. The full bath has a walk-in shower and a large closet. With garden views, pool access, and a separate entrance, this Suite becomes the perfect private retreat to welcome extra guests.
The Office can be used as 5th bedroom with twin size bed and half bath. Large built-in desks make this the perfect work space for those combining business with pleasure. There is also a piano here for vacationing children (and adults) to stay current on their practice!
The deep azure blue pool with streaming water feature is surrounded by more lush landscaping, flowering plants and mature trees. A Pergola covered raised patio overlooks the pool and surrounding grounds . This outdoor living room is the perfect afternoon shady spot for relaxing or entertaining guests poolside .

The upstairs Great Room of this 2 story, “Casa Pequeña” offers a full Kitchen with wine cooler, a flat screen TV, stereo system, and full bath. From the Great Room, walk out glass and iron french doors to an expansive patio adjacent to the pool, perfect for relaxation or entertaining. Take the external tiled stairway down to the Studio Suite. This Suite offers a California king size bed, fireplace and sitting area. The full bath features hand pounded copper sinks and a walk-in shower. The whole Suite opens to a very private and tranquil wooded backyard.
